“I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.” (Ephesians 3:16-19)
With Your love, You work all things for good.
With Your Word, all things are true.
All things are good and true. Harmonious with the melodies of heaven.
Through Your love, all things transform into LOVE. Some form. Some purpose. Some how.
And with love –
Who are we?
Who will we remain?
Who do we become – most generally; most specifically?
God, how does Your love drive out the darkness?
How is Your light formed to do so? Is it nuanced science? Is it a particular way?
IT IS TRUTH.
The very formation of each beam.
The very structure of each ray.
The power of force…energy… wavelength… frequency… and sound.
IT IS TRUTH.
IT IS YOU.
Is light wrapped in love? Or is it love wrapped in light?
Can they be one in the same? Are they dependent on each other? Self-originating? Self-sustaining? Not selfish by any means!
Each to take on some form of You? Emerging from the best of You? Separate from you? I don’t think so!
So, how do you do it? How are you God? How are you love? How are you the “I AM?”
I wonder.
The mystery. That effervescence. The pure object of hope – pure hope itself.
I wonder.
I wait for the moment when heaven reveals…now and later…that
You just are.
Nothing more simple or less profound. You just are.
The I AM. I WAS. I WILL BE…
All things.
All things of love… In. By. Through. For. You.
Because of love.
You just are… the I AM.
Eternal. Infinite. Immutable.
Sovereign. Almighty. Omniscient. Righteous.
Just.
Wrathful. Patient. Faithful. Gracious. Merciful.
Incomprehensible.
In every way.
I wonder.
How are you love?
Grace me with a slice of the mystery.
So I can be too – each and every day.
